Mark Harries QC leads Joanne Kane for the second defendant in a murder trial in Derby Crown Court in which it is alleged that the deceased was stabbed to death by a stranger following an argument.
The Crown’s case is that all four defendants acted jointly in an altercation in which one of them stabbed the deceased four times in the back. The trial is expected to last until the end of September. Mark and Joanne are instructed by Derek Angus and Charlotte Bradford of The Smith Partnership, Derby.
