David James represented a young driver acquitted after trial of causing the death of a pedestrian by careless driving. It was alleged the defendant was paying insufficient attention while using a mobile telephone and had driven into a pedestrian who had fallen into the road, before driving away from the scene after the collision.
This case was reported in the Daily Mail and The Sun.
